My dear wife Ann suffered from this debilitating illness and other related illnesses, all of our 44 years of happy married life. She had nearly 30 operations during this period which included replacement joints in her hands and feet , steel pins in her ankles and a replacement knee that unfortunately subsequently failed. I know she was often in pain but despite this managed to bring up our two lovely daughters Michelle & Sarah, always had a happy disposition and still managed to make intricately decorated Wedding & Birthday cakes and latterly bespoke greeting cards for both family and friends.
