Money raised from the craft stall this weekend. The day went well and thank you to all those who supported us and visited on the day. It was a slow day and not as many visitors as we would have liked but we did manage to raise some money for NRAS which is great and hopefully we also raised awareness for the charity and spread the word about how amazing my Mum was. There are some photos from the event in the gallery of this site. Thanks Sarah and family x
Mum words can't explain how much I miss you. And wish I could hug you again. You were so brave right to the end and your strength has helped me be the woman I am now. love you so much. Michelle xxx
Just a small donation to help research into finding a cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis. My dear wife Ann suffered from this debilitating illness and other related illnesses, all of our 44 years of happy married life. She had nearly 30 operations during this period which included replacement joints in her hands and feet , steel pins in her ankles and a replacement knee that unfortunately subsequently failed. I know she was often in pain but despite this managed to bring up our two lovely daughters Michelle & Sarah, always had a happy disposition and still managed to make intricately decorated Wedding & Birthday cakes and latterly bespoke greeting cards for both family and friends.
Money raised for NRAS when I ran my first half marathon in 2014. Mum you inspired me to run this race back then, I know that when I run the next one next year it will be so much harder not having you here. I hope I can make you proud. I miss you so much and would give anything for another chat, cuddle, laugh, and just to be with you. I hope you are at peace somewhere. I love you more than ever. My precious Mum rest happily. xxxx
